You’ve seen the bumper sticker: S#@% Happens!
It’s catchy, and although it may make us cringe, it seems to be true. That’s why we can’t keep from agreeing with it.
But something else happens in life, too. Something encouraging. Something hopeful. Something that tells the rest of the story.
That’s what we’re all about. It’s a given that unfortunate, unexpected, and unhappy stuff happens to all of us every day. But that stuff isn’t the whole story. Behind the scenes all of that stuff is an opportunity for good, or growth, or both.
We’re all about expectations.
If you go through life expecting hard stuff to happen, you’ll be prepared for the realities of life. But if that’s all you expect, you’re going to miss out on a lot! Thinking about the Lemonade of life opens you to horizons you’ll never see if you only think about the bad stuff.
Let’s celebrate a hopeful new motto, a truth that we need when the hard stuff hits us:
Lemonade Happens!
Lemonade does happen, but we have to look for it. We have to remind each other with Lemonade stories. So let’s say it loud and say it proud. Lemonade Happens!
